Der Aufsichtsrat des Universitätsklinikums des Saarlandes (UKS) hat frühzeitig und mit Wirkung zum 1. Mai 2025 den Vertrag von Pflegedirektor Serhat Sari um weitere drei Jahre verlängert.   Der Gesundheits- und Sozialmanager Serhat Sari war zum Mai 2022 vom Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf, wo er die pflegerische Departmentleitung der Campuskliniken als auch für die dortige Geschäftsbereichsleitung Personalmanagement verantwortet hatte, nach Homburg gewechselt und ist seitdem als Pflegedirektor Teil des vierköpfigen Vorstands des UKS.   „Serhat Sari hat in den vergangenen drei Jahren unter hohem persönlichen Einsatz und unterstützt von hervorragenden Teams auf den einzelnen Stationen die Betreuung und Versorgung der Patientinnen und Patienten am UKS gesichert und zugleich Maßnahmen ergriffen, um deren Qualität und auch die Attraktivität des Pflegeberufes zu steigern. Für Menschen, die in den Beruf einsteigen möchten, und ebenso für vielen Beschäftigten, die bereits seit Jahren oder sogar Jahrzehnten in diesem Bereich tätig sind. Neue Arbeitszeitmodelle, erweiterte Aufstiegschancen sowie flachere Hierarchien und mehr Möglichkeiten der Beteiligung wurden von Serhat Sari erfolgreich auf den Weg gebracht“, erklärte David Lindemann, Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrates des UKS und Chef der Saarland Staatskanzlei. „Wir freuen uns sehr auf die weitere Zusammenarbeit mit ihm.“
