GE90 has landed and work has begun. Accompanied by a “special FOLLOW ME vehicle” due to the oversize of the engine section, the first pair of GE90 (B777) thrust reversers arrived in our facility last week. And as planned, we were able to start the overhaul program for one of our premium customers before Christmas. We are looking forward to this task - Thank you and more to come...

Aerokurier visits HEICO Aircraft Maintenance: Topic NDT We were delighted to welcome Lars Reinhold from Aerokurier to our facility in Schkeuditz! ❗ The important topic of non-destructive testing (NDT) will be the focus of one of the next issues (January 2025).  The visit served to gain a comprehensive picture of NDT and the various testing methods - from ultrasonic testing (UT), eddy current (ET) and fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI) to magnetic particle inspection (MT), these can be carried out in our facility or directly on site at the aircraft. It was also an opportunity to get to know HEICO Aircraft Maintenance and our new site in Schkeuditz better and to experience the diversity of our aircraft component repair center and our daily work. ❗ NDT is not only essential for safety in aviation, but also an area that is constantly producing new technologies and innovative approaches. For us at HEICO Aircraft Maintenance, the focus is not only on applying the latest technologies. We endeavor to continuously develop ourselves further in order to meet the increasing demands of the industry. Our team of Level II Inspectors is deployed throughout Germany (and beyond), mostly on site, but also in our workshop.
