By combining our cutting-edge #XR simulation technologies with Rheinmetall's extensive expertise in military training systems, we are ready to set new industry standards. Together, we aim to develop innovative, realistic, and flexible training solutions that address the evolving demands of modern military operations. Our collaboration will focus on creating versatile platforms like the HGXR SIM, a mobile XR motion simulator designed to provide highly realistic training experiences across a wide range of applications. This partnership is a key step forward for us, opening new possibilities for XR and VR simulation in military training. Artificial Intelligence Meets Extended Reality! HOLOGATE, with its division for training and simulation solutions HGXR, has teamed up with the German Army in a four-year collaboration to bring #AI into XR training! As part of a renewed partnership with Wehrtechnische Dienststelle 91 (WTD 91), we're developing cutting-edge AI modules to support military personnel training.  Here's what we're working on: ➡ Developing an AI behavior editor to create and manage NPC actions, including AI-supported expressions and gestures, and combining scripted and AI-driven behaviors  ➡ Conversations with NPCs via AI chatbots, including the integration of Large Language Models for improved NPC communication     ➡ Developing AI modules that operate independently of the virtual action trainer to support soldiers in their operational tasks    This groundbreaking technology isn't just for military training—it's paving the way for future applications in police and security training too. The integration of AI enables us not only to create realistic and immersive XR training scenarios, but also to develop standalone, interoperable solutions that are greatly beneficial to service personnel in their professional lives.
