🔥 It's getting hot in here 🔥 HyperHeat has raised €3.5M to decarbonize high-temperature industrial heat! We are excited to announce that we have raised €3.5M in new funding led by the APEX Ventures, with participation from Finindus, Possible Ventures, E44 Ventures, Breakthrough Energy Fellows, and a group of seasoned business angel investors - shout out to Climate Founders & Markus Sudhoff, Pjotr van Schothorst, Jonas Schoendube, Marc Thorsten Lipps, Matt Blythe. 🥂 A heartfelt thank you to our investors for sharing our vision and supporting us as we step into the next chapter. HyperHeat is building a cutting-edge, all-electric heating solution designed to reach temperatures of up to 2,000°C. The energy-intensive industry’s urgent need to cut approximately 8.5 gigatons of annual CO2 emissions from industrial heat by 2050. Using renewable electricity HyperHeat is providing an efficient alternative to fossil fuel combustion. With an efficiency rate of up to 98%, HyperHeat is ideal for retrofitting industrial processes, enabling significant CO2 reductions across industries like steel, cement, and chemicals. With this funding, we will accelerate the development and testing of our first industrial products, which are set to be deployed by 2025. We will also expand our R&D efforts and work closely with pilot customers to bring our technology to market. Congratulations to the whole HyperHeat team! Let's exceed the limits of industrial heat together! 🙌🏼✨ Read more about this announcement in Tech Funding News 👇 https://lnkd.in/egranpse Wolfgang Neubert Tim Hos Hans Maenhout Ruben Decoster Filip Van den Abeele Dr. Christoph Baumeister Chris Hitchen Thyra Seitz (Wegener) Adi Vagman Anat Haas Mizrahi Sharon Shacham Tanya Korchia-Harel Franziska Ponick Madalina (Maddy) Grigorie Martin Bellof Stefan Weber Manuel Kaiser Serdar Hiçdurmaz Lukas Kertsch Magdalena Milecka Dieter Brandstaetter Brenda Haendler Jolene Gurevich Abigail Mathieson Edouard Bulteau Francisco Pérez-Ojeda Rodríguez Lars Amsbeck Frederick Lessmann
