However, several challenges are complicating the cell counting process, such as: • 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐲: Therapeutic cell populations often consist of diverse cell types with varying sizes and morphologies, making precise counts challenging. • 𝐕𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Distinguishing between live and dead cells is crucial. Traditional dyes like trypan blue may not accurately indicate cell viability, especially after freeze-thaw cycles. • 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Samples may contain unwanted cells or debris, leading to inaccurate counts.
