We are thrilled to announce that our special issue proposal on Robot-Assisted Medical Imaging (#RAMI) has been accepted by the prestigious IEEE Transactions on Robotics (#TRO)!!! Workshops on this topic have already been successfully held at #ICRA23 in London and #ICRA24 in Yokohama.  This special issue has an ambitious goal to further tightly strengthen connections between the MICCAI Society and IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, which are the biggest communities for medical imaging and robotic research. Besides cutting-edge research of innovative combinations of robot and medical imaging systems, we particularly want to provide a stage for solid and meaningful #translational_research, which will result in a long-term impact on clinical practices.
