He will represent Ingpuls and serve the board with his two decade expertise in Nickel-Titanium research and production to support the development of this technology and contribute to its continued success on a global scale. Receiving the distinction of becoming a member of the SMST board is a great honor and privilege. His appointment to the circle of the world's most recognized NiTi experts underlines the continuous development that Ingpuls has experienced since the beginning of its foundation. After almost 10 years of development, from the idea 💡 to implementation, we are pleased that our customer, the nuclear power plant Gösgen in #Switzerland 🇨🇭, received approval for a state-of-the-art leak stop valve from the Federal #Nuclear Safety Inspectorate in Switzerland (ENSI ) 6 months ago. These valves make an important contribution to the passive safety of nuclear facilities today and in the future. They shut off fluid circuits completely autonomously if critical process temperatures occur. The #shapememoryalloy is activated by the system energy (temperature increase of the medium), which means the valve shuts off safely and independently. ✅ For this purpose, Ingpuls has developed a tailor-made solution consisting of components and materials over the past few years.
