We had such an inspiring and educational staff development day with Nick Haisman-Smith (he/him/his) from the The Institute for Social and Emotional Learning! Nick’s expertise and passion for Social and Emotional Learning shone through in every aspect of the workshop. The activities and discussions allowed us to deepen our understanding of the importance and benefits of #SEL in education and provided practical strategies for integrating it into our daily practices. The whole team thoroughly enjoyed the day and felt comfortable sharing their thoughts and experiences. We received an abundance of resources and materials and the team is excited to implement the strategies and techniques we learned to enhance Social and Emotional Learning in our classrooms and school community. Thank you Nick for equipping us with the tools and knowledge to better support our students' social and emotional development!
