Together, we’re bringing smart technology to the streets: our GPS trackers will be directly integrated into Yuccie e-bikes, providing maximum security and connectivity. Starting in March, the first e-bikes featuring our IoT solution will be available in stores. More than 1,000 Yuccie bikes will come with this innovative anti-theft technology. 🔍 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘀 - 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗣𝗦 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 🚲📍 Although small towns are less affected by bicycle theft than large cities, an e-bike was stolen from a shed in Achim near Bremen. But the thief had done the maths without our GPS tracker: The motion alarm of the e-bike tracked with IT'S MY BIKE strikes immediately. Our personal highlight in this case is that not only was the bike found in a van, but the thief was also caught. 🎯 Cases like this not only make us proud, but also show how important it is to protect e-bikes with the right technology. Last Friday, the second network meeting of the Women in Cycling Germany initiative took place on the beautiful campus of the University of Kassel. Around 80 women came together to develop the vision, direction and mission of the network in workshops. True to the motto: Breaking barriers, riding forward - transforming cycling for an equal mobility. 🚴♀️ 🤝 And right in the middle of it all were our two colleagues Johanna Gümpel and Nina Sielmann from our Marketing department, who are actively involved in the initiative and supporting the Communications working group with their expertise. 🗣️ We are delighted to be an active part of Women in Cycling Germany and to be able to contribute to this vision! This poses a real challenge for Dance as an e-bike subscription service provider. Dance e-bikes are also at great risk of misuse for commercial purposes in large cities. We have created a model-specific solution to integrate our GPS tracking solution beneath bike frames with a plastic case for the e-bike subscription service provider Dance. Thanks to our data signatures, Dance is able to verify whether their e-bikes, approved exclusively for private individuals, are not being used for commercial purposes on a regular basis.
