Gold for IREKS! Namely, for our longstanding commitment to the “Umwelt- und Klimapakt Bayern” (Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact). Bavaria’s Environment Minister, Thorsten Glauber, presented the award to IREKS Managing Director Dr. Mathias Warwel, who accepted it as a representative for IREKS. This gold certificate is presented to companies who have taken part in the initiative of the Bavarian Ministry for Environmental Affairs at least five times in a row. IREKS has already been actively contributing to a more environmentally friendly Bavaria since 2007 with various measures, showing how sustainable projects in the baking ingredients sector can be realised.
