Last week, Team Jimdo had the honor of hosting Priya Koliyot, founder of The Keto Elf and a Jimdo customer, during our Teamverløtung (all-company meeting) 😍. She shared her entrepreneurial journey, her passion for creating clean, convenient, and delicious snacks, and answered questions from the team ✨ . Priya launched The Keto Elf in her kitchen a few years ago as a side hustle, crafting healthy, yummy, and allergen-free treats. Today, as a team of one, she’s built a loyal community and gained recognition in the market. Priya's dedication, resilience, and creativity are truly inspiring. Last week, one of our product teams gathered in Hamburg for an in-person offsite, with some teammates joining online, to focus on understanding our customers’ needs. This two-day event was all about digging into small businesses’ day-to-day, hearing firsthand about their challenges, and brainstorming ways to bring them more value 💡 Of course, the team made time to connect too, including over small drinks and dinner tasting hosted by The Whisky Jack 😍 A big highlight was a series of face-to-face interviews with four small businesses in Hamburg. These conversations gave the team real insight into how they manage their businesses, the pain points they face, and the ways they currently work through them. Now, the team is diving into creating and testing solutions that could help solve these challenges ✨ Watch this space!

This week, our CTO, Felipe Furlan da Silva, and Senior Staff Engineer, Bijan Chokoufe Nejad, took part in Cloudflare's first-ever Immersive event in Zurich! Felipe took the stage, sharing Jimdo's journey and the challenges we've tackled over the past two years. Thank you, Cloudflare and Kerstin Wadenka, for the invitation! One of the biggest highlights? Following Felipe's talk, many attendees came up to him and shared their own Jimdo stories, with some saying Jimdo was where they built their very first website, sometimes over a decade ago.
