    𝐀𝐎𝐊 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐫𝐮𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐮𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐝 🏃♀️🏃♂️ With the best weather and over 7,000 active runners from all over the Märkischer Kreis, our team took part in the 20th AOK company run in Lüdenscheid last Friday. The 170 runners from KOSTAL had a lot of fun and mastered the 6-kilometre course through Lüdenscheid city centre. A big thank you to all the runners for taking part!     𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋 As part of the annual Performance & Potential Process at KOSTAL, the Corporate Talent Development Team offers the so-called Empowerment Days. These provide an opportunity for people leaders, talents, and HR to network, learn about talent management at KOSTAL, and kick off their development plans. The pilot of this format was successfully launched last week at KBS in Budapest through the international collaboration of Márta Berzsenyi, Alina Serafimova and Anja Gollin. In addition to an information round with the HR team, the Empowerment Days included two full-day workshops for people leaders and for high potentials. Both groups could delve deeper into the ELI Talents process and the available development offers, as well as clarify open questions. The talents could reflect on their objectives, strengths, and blockers, while the people leaders focused on their role in the process and the next steps. And of course, we aimed to give the participants a fun experience with a chance to exchange experiences and network – in order to start the development phase full of energy!     𝐊𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐄𝐕 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 KOSTAL Group is expanding its range of services with the launch of vaylens – an innovative software division for the management of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. Vaylens will offer software solutions that simplify the operation of charging infrastructures and make the billing of charging processes more efficient. The sister company Compleo Charging Solutions will focus on the hardware business for the optimisation of EV charging technology within the KOSTAL Group. Vaylens makes it easier for both newcomers and charge point operators (CPOs) to use electromobility by offering comprehensive options for the management and monetisation of charging infrastructure. Vaylens is a hardware-independent software provider for charging infrastructure. The focus is on applications in the public and private sector. The aim is to provide CPOs with user-friendly and scalable solutions that are easy to manage. The company enables CPOs to make their charging stations accessible to all electric car drivers with minimal effort. Its innovative products will make charging at workplaces, in houses in multi occupancy buildings (HMO), and for vehicle fleets efficient.  Further information about vaylens can be found at: www.vaylens.com

    🏃♂️🌟 AOK company run in Dortmund 🌟🏃♀️ Last week, a team of 41 dedicated runners successfully took part in the company run in Dortmund together with around 2,500 other runners. After the starting signal at Phönix-West, they ran a lap around the Phönixsee and back again. The colleagues from KOSTAL achieved a great third place in the group ranking and 7th place in the men's individual ranking. 💪🏅 🏆 A big thank you to all participants for their commitment and the great atmosphere. We are proud of this outstanding team performance and are already looking forward to next week, when numerous colleagues will once again take part in this year's company run in Lüdenscheid! #KOSTAL #team #companyrun

    ✨ Hoy se conmemora el Día Mundial de la Donación de Sangre y desde KOSTAL Spain os queremos animar a participar de manera altruista en esta actividad. ❤️🩸 ¿Sabías que? 🤔 Según los últimos datos del Ministerio de Sanidad (2022), en España se donaron sangre y/o componentes sanguíneos 1.145.886 ciudadanos.     Last week, we hosted our first Values & Wellbeing Days at KOSTAL Hungary, a special event dedicated to celebrating and reinforcing the core values that define who we are as a company. It was an enriching experience that brought us closer together, reminded us of our shared goals, and emphasized the importance of wellbeing in our workplace. Our company values are the cornerstone of our culture and operations. They guide our actions, shape our interactions, and drive our success. Over the course of Values & Wellbeing Days, we explored these values through a series of engaging activities and discussions designed to deepen our understanding and commitment. We started the event with a Townhall meeting on the values, where we also rewarded our colleagues who achieved extraordinary performance regarding our core values in the last months. Our colleagues could take part in a Value-Activity – the classic activity game spiced up with KOSTAL Values. We also launched our ’Thank you card’ system – a selection of thank you cards are available for the colleagues. These cards are intended to help us recognize and appreciate each other’s hard work and contributions. These cards are paper-based, so human touch can also come to the fore. In addition to celebrating our values, we dedicated time to wellbeing activities, acknowledging that a healthy, happy team is essential for our collective success. We have several colleagues who, in their free time, indulge in hobbies that they have now had the opportunity to show off, including office stretching, relaxation and chi-kung. These sessions were all held by our own colleagues for those interested. In addition, our staff also took part in various presentations and health screenings. Values & Wellbeing Days were a successful event, reinforcing our commitment to our core values and the wellbeing of our team.     KOSTAL Group’s commitment is to make a positive impact on the present and future generations. The 2023 Sustainability Report encompasses environmental, social, and governance achievements over the past year, which have brought us closer to reaching our final ambition, becoming a carbon-neutral company on our entire value chain by 2045. As of this report, Compleo's sustainability performance is also included in the document. In this report, we continued to enhance our transparency and accountability supported by a standardised sustainability metrics reporting and data collection process. We report on the improvements we accomplished in key sustainability areas, and highlight successful projects we are proud of and set out the steps and efforts we are going to take in the coming years, to continue to achieve outstanding environmental and social performance. Sustainability achievements in 2023: - 10.7 % reduction in GHG emission intensity (Scope 1 & 2) compared to 2022, which supports our ambition of Carbon Neutrality by 2045. - 11 % reduction in energy intensity compared to 2022. - 8.6 % reduction in waste intensity compared to 2022. - 14.1 % reduction in water intensity compared to 2022. - 44 % / 56 % female to male ratio supports diversity in our culture - 7 % reduction of the number of days lost to work-related injuries - We established employee resource groups at a site-level to collect data, share know-how and good practices, and foster a diverse, inclusive working environment. - We enhanced our employee development program across our global organisation, supported by a global Learning and Development team. - We collect best practices and organise global campaigns for sustainability-related employee engagement. - We organise local social projects with the help of local representatives of sustainability (Sustainability Champions) in a bottom-up, top-down way. Much has been accomplished, yet there is a long journey awaiting. The credit for our achievements goes to our KOSTAL colleagues, suppliers, and partners for their ongoing commitment and dedication to joining us on our shared journey, OUR WAY to a sustainable future. The report has been developed aligned with the requirements of the GRI standards and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards.
