A breeze of fresh air is blowing over from India - KTR India in Pune had something to celebrate! At the end of last month, our Managing Director Nicola Warning travelled to Pune, India, together with our Advisory Board Chairman Prof. Dr Josef Gerstner, because there was a special event to celebrate: the inauguration of the new KTR Wind building for our subsidiary in India. Our colleagues in India have laid the foundations for future growth in the wind industry on an impressive 2,000 square metres. At the joint meeting with the entire Indian workforce, the successes to date were celebrated and plans were made for the next expansion steps in 2025/26. We are very excited about the opportunities that this construction at the Pune site offers us and are proud of what Team KTR India, under the outstanding leadership of SHIVSHANKAR PIKALE, has achieved so far. Schon sind zwei spannende Tage in Würzburg wieder vorbei. Die Förderprozess-Foren, bestehend aus Wasserstoff-Forum und Pumpen-Forum haben wieder einmal eine spannende Austauschplattform für Ingenieure geboten. Wir als KTR sind Partner der Veranstaltung und waren somit mit einem kleinen Stand am Rande der Veranstaltung vertreten. René Pottmann und Michael Bruening haben dort eine Auswahl an Produkten für die Pumpenbranche präsentiert. Ein besonderes Highlight für die Kollegen war allerdings der Vortrag, den René Pottmann beim Pumpen-Forum gehalten hat. Er zeigte auf, wie der Betreiber Innovation in Sachen Kupplungen treibt, welche Anforderungen an Wellenkupplungen beim Thema Pumpen gestellt werden, und welche Lösungen wir dafür bereithalten. Die Vorträge und Workshops der Veranstaltung waren generell sehr informativ und haben darüber hinaus zu sehr spannenden Gesprächen geführt. Last week, trainer Thorsten Penno gave our young professionals plenty of food for thought as he guided them through an exciting workshop designed to promote their personal and professional development. Morning: focus on motivation Thorsten started at 9 a.m. with an inspiring presentation on the topic of motivation. In addition to the basics of motivation theories, he posed the question: Motivation - myth or management task? The introduction to the Riemann-Thomann model, which analyses basic human aspirations, was particularly impressive. In subsequent group work, our young professionals continued to analyse this with a clear focus on our KTR values and goals. Afternoon: Stress management - finding the balance The afternoon continued with a presentation on stress management. Here, the functions of social support systems were examined and a distinction made between positive and negative stressors. In group work, the participants developed practical approaches on how we can promote healthy stress management at KTR. 🌟 Our conclusion: A day full of valuable impulses and constructive teamwork that shows how important it is to support our young professionals not only professionally, but also personally. We are delighted that our young professionals tackled these topics with so much commitment and creativity - the future at KTR looks promising! 💪

Over 1,000 years of KTR experience brought together for a wonderful evening. Honouring our jubilarians last Thursday was once again a very special experience. A red carpet, delicious food, an artist - all this was offered to our colleagues who have been with the company for 10, 20, 25 or 40 years. The walk down the red carpet, the badge of honour for 25 or 40 years, the beautiful ambience and the delicious food at the KEC amazed the jubilarians and you could tell how proud they are of their time at KTR. And rightly so, because what our colleagues achieve every day is priceless for us. The juggler, who accompanied the anniversary celebrations with his performances, also made for astonished faces. Not only did an incredible number of objects fly through the air at the same time, the artist had even prepared a light show for us, which really impressed us. At the latest when the KTR logo also played a role, there was no holding back. We are delighted that we were able to experience this fantastic evening together and would like to take this opportunity to thank all our colleagues who have remained loyal to us for so long. Those who learn with us fly out. This year to Crete and Lisbon. Four of our trainees have once again completed an internship abroad this year. This time, our apprentices chose two different locations. The two cutting machine operators, Michael and Fabian, went to Lisbon for four weeks. Here they were able to support an industrial company on the CNC machines and incorporate a great deal of experience from their work at KTR. Fiona and Kaja spent their 4 weeks on Crete. Here, the budding industrial clerks were able to put their organizational skills to the test in an architectural office and get a taste of a completely different subject. The great time in another country was also used by all our trainees for excursions in the new surroundings. In Portugal, the weekends were used to get to know Lisbon better together. The days off in Crete were also used for excursions, for example to the Samaria Gorge and other cities. We are delighted that our trainees had such a great time and gained an insight into everyday working life in Lisbon and Crete. We are sticking to our motto: those who learn with us fly out. And out into the wide world.

New flooring can make a huge difference, can't it? If you look at the before and after pictures of our production, the new floor is the first thing that catches your eye. But it's not the only change that has taken place in Tacke production in recent months. In order to continue to guarantee modern production, the new floor was also used as an opportunity to introduce a new route concept to facilitate the use of driverless transport systems. The planned new arrangement of the machines was also implemented at the same time. The machines are now arranged more stringently according to the principle of production islands, allowing us to continuously optimise our processes. In order to be able to continue production during this construction work, the hall was divided into different sections and these were renovated one after the other. We are delighted that this process has now been completed and that we have been rewarded with this fantastic result. We would like to thank all our employees who, despite the restrictions on their workplaces associated with the renovation, have been very patient and solution-orientated in processing all orders with their usual speed and professionalism.
