✨Explore Our Global Collaboration!✨ We’ve just published a new blog post. In this blog, we are featuring two secondees from the UK Atomic Energy Authority. We interviewed Dan Lee-Lane and Parth Kotwal, two experienced engineers, to get their insights on working alongside our team at our R&D centre "Kyoto Research Centre", where we’re developing the UNITY-1 project—a groundbreaking initiative aimed at demonstrating the conversion of the immense energy from fusion reactions into electricity, by simulating the high-temperature and magnetic conditions of a fusion plant. We also spoke with them about their experiences living in Kyoto, Japan. Read the blog to learn more about their journey! https://lnkd.in/g-8JUKMh

Next week, I’ll be in Silicon Valley, CA, for FusionX Group's FusionXInvest: Global—my first time back in the Bay Area in almost a decade (the last time I was there was for Nuclear Innovation Bootcamp in 2016!) I’ll be representing Kyoto Fusioneering on a panel discussing how corporate venture capital, technology firms, and EPC contractors are engaging with fusion and what these partnerships mean for the industry's future. I'll be joined by Tina Tosukhowong (TDK Ventures), Dr. Fred Beranek (Fluor), Anku Madan (Obvious Ventures), and Dan Shafqat (Decarb Ventures), with William Fork (Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP) moderating. I am looking forward to an insightful discussion on how strategic partnerships can deliver value to fusion beyond just capital—shaping supply chains, accelerating technology, and enabling commercialisation.
