Second Health Week at Lingoda: Wellbeing for Body & Mind 🌿 Lingoda's second Health Week has successfully concluded! Over the course of 5 days, from October 14-18, Lingodies were invited to participate in a range of on-site and online activities, broadening our horizon about the various dimensions of wellbeing on and off work. 🌱 The invaluable support from our partners and sponsors played a crucial role in making Health Week a success. nilo.health led insightful roundtable discussions on meditation, growth mindset, and mental health-centered leadership. Tackling a common topic in the workplace, Bloom contributed with a webinar on stress management.😌 At Lingoda, we’ve always prioritized the link between mental and physical well-being, creating an environment that encourages a healthy mind and body. This year, BARMER hosted educational webinars on nutrition trends and healthy eating habits. Furthermore, we were thrilled to receive goodie bags from our partners BRAINEFFECT and KoRo, filled with nutritious, brain-boosting snacks and supplements. 🎁 🥝 Health Week wouldn't have been the same without the amazing contributions of our talented Lingodies. Sara Hoxhaj, Valentina R., Kajsa Arnlund, Barbara Cafuta and Rita Olah led a variety of sessions, including seminars on the neurobiology of happiness, meditation and yoga, nutrition workshops, and hands-on on-site activities like gratitude expression and a vegan no-cook workshop. World Mental Health Day is here again this week! This year, the theme is “It's time to prioritize mental health in the workplace”. 🫶 At Lingoda we know that’s true. We partner with nilo.health to look after the mental well-being of our team. Prioritizing mental health can look different for everyone: maybe you need to talk to a leading psychologist. Maybe you learn better in a group setting, where you can exchange ideas and strategies. Maybe you need a meditation break. 🧘 That’s why we like to take action! Our second Health Week, themed 'Fuel Your Body, Free Your Mind: Embrace Wellness Inside and Out!' will be happening from October 14th to 18th. We've put together an exciting lineup of webinars, events, and activities—both online and in-person—for all Lingodies to enjoy. Our well-rounded program covers both mental and physical well-being, with sessions on mental health, happiness, and neurobiology, plus expert-led webinars tailored for Lingoda on nutrition. If you value flexibility or would like to teach German part-time, Lingoda gives you the freedom to take over as many or few classes per week as you please. In case you are looking for a more fixed schedule, we can accommodate that as well, given that we offer differently structured programs to our students.✏️ Our German teacher Elke, who has been with us since 2018, is using this flexibility for offline activities one day per week.👏 We believe that teachers should be enabled to work as much or little as they want, with a more or less fixed schedule, depending on their preferences.
