🚀 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗽: 𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗧'𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗔𝗣 𝗪𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗔𝗣 𝗘𝗪𝗠 🚚 Starting in 2023, we took a major step in optimizing our logistics operations by transitioning from SAP WM to SAP EWM as part of our "Logistics Concept 2030". This shift was crucial for integrating automation, improving material flow efficiency, and preparing for future growth. By implementing SAP EWM at our main plant in Viechtach, we enhanced our supply chain transparency, sped up processes, and improved real-time data management. The move also future-proofs the company’s logistics, with seamless integration of automated solutions like AGILOX autonomous mobile robots. With the successful go-live, we are already seeing significant improvements in inventory management, error reduction, and overall process efficiency. LINHARDT is also laying the groundwork for future innovations with the upcoming integration of SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM). A delegation from the ‘Freie Wähler’ parliamentary group was visiting our Tec.Point this week. We were delighted to welcome Mr Martin Behringer, member of the Bavarian state parliament, together with Richard Gruber, mayor of the municipality of Geiersthal, district councillor Heinrich Schmidt, Bundestag candidate Helmut Muhr and Dr. Fabian Mehring, Bavarian Minister of State for Digital Affairs, to our technical centre in Linden. As an innovative ‘lighthouse’ for automation and digitalisation in the packaging industry, it is a great opportunity for LINHARDT to share information about already achieved milestones, as well as to discuss future developments and innovations – with particular focus on our toolmaking department as an independent company within the LINHARDT Group: Originally established as a repair workshop for in-house production, around 50% of tools are now manufactured here for external customers using state-of-the-art machinery. As part of an extensive factory tour, the guests were given an insight into our competence centre and the diverse projects that we are driving forward at LINHARDT Tec.Point. We were also able to use the visit to present our own position paper on the needs of regional companies.
