  • #Workshops, #TeamActivities, #Bootcamp? ✨ We reflect on our MAX!mize highlights 2024! The year 2024 is coming to an end. A new year begins in approximately one month. As with every start-up, it is often very valuable to look back on past events. Reflect. Analyse. Adapt or, if necessary, adjust. This is exactly what Magdalena Geissler's workshop for our teams in Phase 1 was about, explaining with valuable examples that structured feedback helps to make better decisions, stay motivated and innovative so that the start-up moves forward efficiently in the right direction. 🚀 Over the next four weeks, we - Kathrin Schelbaum, Caroline Sandow, Reynaldo Nina Garcia and Sarah Oppenländer - would like to share our MAX!mize highlights of the year with you from our perspective. Our first #Retrospective starts next week. ➡️ In your opinion, what should definitely be included in our recap?

💨 In our fast-paced world, taking time for reflection can feel counterintuitive. After all, who wants to pause when there's so much to do and achieve? It’s like stopping at a gas station when you’re in a hurry — it feels like lost time. But here's the catch: Without refueling, you won't get very far. 👇 I used this analogy for my workshop "Keeping your start-up healthy with regular team retros", which I facilitated for MAX!mize incubator for Max Planck start-ups. 💡 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: Taking time to reflect, evaluate, and gather team feedback through structured #retrospectives isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity. It allows us to make better decisions, adapt to changes, and stay innovative. The benefits far outweigh the minimal time investment. 💡 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘆: #Retros are your chance to refuel and ensure your start-up is moving forward efficiently and in the right direction. It’s not always fun, but it keeps your team aligned, motivated, and ready to achieve great things — with speed and #purpose. ❤️ Thanks to ... ... the start-up teams for your #curiosity, #dedication and #courage to try it out! ... the team of Kathrin Schelbaum, Reynaldo Nina Garcia, Caroline Sandow and everyone else for putting together such a strong progrmame. ... Dr. Maria Bartschat and Nina Spiri for your feedack in the preparation phase. Always good to know I can rely on a strong network of benevolent professionals. #Leadership #TeamDevelopment #StartUp #Innovation #TeamRetro #FeedbackCulture #MaxPlanck

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 - 𝟭 𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰, 𝟯 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀 🚀 In order to offer our MAX!mize start-ups with various research fields the best possible and individually tailored support, we have organised three parallel workshops on the topic of #ProductDevelopment. Andreas led one of these workshops and provided practical insights that directly addressed the challenges faced by the teams. 💡 The best thing: all three workshops were so valuable and informative that we almost couldn't stop the teams - and the dialogue and coaching even continued over dinner. 🙌 Dedicated support like this is a key component of our MAX!mize #IncubationProgram. It makes all the difference and helps our #StartUps to sharpen their visions and take concrete steps towards founding a company. We are incredibly grateful that our Start-up Coaches and Trainers are so committed. We don't take that for granted and we really appreciate it. It wouldn't be possible without them! Thank you, Andreas Pavlenko, and also Dr. Simon Bungers and Francesco Grillo, who led the other two sessions, for your commitment and valuable support! We are already looking forward to the next workshops! 🚀 #Thankfulness

🚀 Learnings from Product Development at the MAX!mize incubator for Max Planck start-ups Event! 🤖 🖥️ At last week's check-in, I had the pleasure of leading a workshop on IT product development. It was good to see parallel sessions tailored to different industries for the teams. Here are the three key takeaways: 1️⃣ Don’t Overengineer when Planning: Planning is essential, but execution drives progress. It’s easy to get bogged down in over-planning; staying action-oriented helps you learn and adapt faster. 2️⃣ Focus on Core Features: Prioritize the features that truly address customer problems. Adding too many extras can dilute your product’s impact and delay its value for users. 3️⃣ Find Your Own Development Cycle: There’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Experiment and find a product development cycle that fits your team’s strengths and goals, then refine as you go. Thanks to Reynaldo Nina Garcia , Sarah Oppenländer , Caroline Sandow , Kathrin Schelbaum , Max-Planck-Innovation GmbH and all the teams involved! 🙌 #techtransfer #entrepreneurship #startups #research #science
