  • From June, we will optimize our Award Flight offer and introduce a new system for calculating mileage values for flights with Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City Airlines and Swiss International Air Lines. This is in response to our members' wish for more flexibility when redeeming miles for flights. What does this mean for these airlines? 🔹 More flexibility: Redeeming miles is, in addition to earning miles, also based on the ticket prices of the airlines and vary depending on travelling time and route. Factors such as time of booking, travel class and selected fare determine the final mileage value. This means that members can benefit from particularly favourable mileage values during the low season. 🔹 More fare options: Light, Classic and Flex fares in Europe and additional fares on long-haul routes. 🔹 Improved booking platform: All fare options, mileage and additional services at a glance. 🔹 Improved availability in some cases: The bookability of Award Flights may improve on some routes. We know that redeeming miles for flight tickets is not always easy. This makes it all the more important for us to constantly optimise this offer.” The Award Flight table will remain in force for the other airlines of the Lufthansa Group (ITA Airways, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings and Discover Airlines) as well as for all other Miles & More partner airlines and Star Alliance partners with fixed mileage values until further notice. #MilesAndMore #LoyaltyProgramme #SpendMiles

    Earn Points for Lufthansa Group Frequent Flyer Status - now possible on ITA Airways flights ✨ From now on, Miles & More members can earn not only miles on ITA Airways flights but also Points, Qualifying Points and HON Circle Points to maintain or achieve Lufthansa Group frequent flyer status. By giving our members even more opportunities to reach the next level of status and enjoy the extensive benefits offered by Lufthansa Group and Star Alliance airlines, we make every trip more special and rewarding. 💙 And even more miles on the way: From 1 March to 15 April, all members can benefit from a special mileage welcome bonus when flying with ITA Airways.     Ever wondered what Lufthansa First and Business Class tastes like? Back in 1955, a welcome drink was first served on board of Lufthansa flights – and since February 2024, a new edition of the signature cocktail “Avionic” has been available on long-haul flights.🍹 Now, together with our partners Lufthansa, Munich Airport, T2 Gesellschaft, the lounges, and the Worldshop, we are bringing this exclusive experience from the sky to the ground. As the loyalty programme of Munich Airport, we are hosting a special Avionic tasting from 10 to 23 February at Lufthansa Business Lounge at Gate 28 – offering our members and airport guests a unique opportunity to experience Lufthansa’s premium service before take-off. ✈️ This event highlights how we as a loyalty programme create real value by delivering seamless brand experiences across the entire travel journey as part of our cooperation with Lufthansa and Flughafen München GmbH (FMG) at the airport.     We already shared the exciting news and welcomed ITA Airways to the Lufthansa Group family. Today our journey together with ITA Airways begins. What’s in for Miles & More and Volare members in the coming months? 🌟 As from today, Miles & More members are able to earn and redeem miles on ITA Airways flights and Volare members will be able to earn and redeem their points on Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian and Brussels Airlines. ✈ Welcome bonus: Miles & More members will earn additional miles on their first flight with ITA Airways with travel dates from 01 March to 15 April. The same promotion applies to Volare members on the first flight operated by Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian Airlines or Brussels Airlines. ✨ From the start of the 2025 summer timetable, ITA Airways lounges will be open to Lufthansa Group passengers.
