Upgrade empty pallet inserter - Replacement of positioning unit In many existing empty pallet inserters, the height and path positioning is carried out by using the motor encoder signal. For this purpose, it becomes necessary to carry out a reference run when the system is restarted (if necessary after error acknowledgment). When a belt is changed, it is sometimes even necessary to intervene in the PLC program for a readjustment. In the current generation of systems, the positioning solution has been replaced by a laser unit. Thus, reference runs and readjustments after belt changes are no longer necessary. With the retrofit kit for the “positioning unit” it is also possible to use these advantages for older system generations. The exchange of information at the International Timber Construction Forum in Innsbruck from December 4 to 6 was a complete success. The optimism of the construction industry was often evident in conversations. Many interested parties see a positive trend and an upturn in 2025.   The cooperation between MINDA and Obel-P was positively taken. Safety first! In November, our colleagues from Stadthagen took part in a first aid course at the German Red Cross.
