Summer is over, but we haven’t been all lazy feet and used the holiday season to accomplish some of the tasks that pose a major advantage for our growing U.S. customer base. As a result, we got the first pallet of our recently launched ReGo products shipped via our international transport and logistics partner Gebrüder Weiss in August. The local logistics center near Chicago, Illinois, now carries customs cleared #rego #sensorinsole and accessories in larger quantities. The move facilitates drop shipments to the growing community of ReGo customers in the U.S. within just one to two days. We’d like to thank the extraordinary helpful, motivated and skilled Gebruder Weiss team showing an outstanding customer service attitude. Our logistics manager Alena Minchenia went to Chicago in late July for a hands-on training session, as the range of tasks now further expands to more complex tasks such as firmware updates for the sensor insoles. A second acknowledgement goes to AHK USA-Chicago, who initially made the contact with GW back in 2022 for our #opengo products in a very unbureaucratic way. We are super excited to continue expanding into the U.S. sports as we truly believe that this is where our solutions will ultimately create great benefit for the performance and health of the athletes. Read more in the news article on our website: https://lnkd.in/eeF_XFcb
It was the mid 90ies when I was a teenager - stunned and fascinated by the larger than life performances of basketball superstars Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen of the Chicago Bulls 🏀 , winning a total of 6 (!) championships from 1991 to 1998 🥇 . It’s been an amazing week for me, working in the holy halls of the The Advocate Center - Chicago Bulls Training Facility to showcase our Moticon ReGo #sensorinsole and #performanceanalysis. Eric Waters, Director of Health and Performance, facilitated this unique opportunity in his effort of screening the market for lightweight and mobile techs that help enhancing insights into training efficacy, rehab progress and risks of injury. I was able to run several top players of the first team through a series of standardized tests and on-court analyses which revealed the full potential of ReGo with its unique proposition of wireless, highly accurate force and plantar pressure readings combined with timing and distance metrics. By any means the best start I can imagine in the U.S. pro sports arena! A long way to go - we keep delivering 😃 💯 💥

Sometimes, we support scientific work in #clinicalresearch or #performancesports. Today, we are happy to express our congratulations to Dr. Andrea Rösel on earning her doctorate from the medical faculty of Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen, Germany, earlier this year. Her work is about comparing patients’ quality of gait with #opengo #sensorinsoles after different surgery methods were used for total hip replacements. Andrea, who is also a physical therapist and passionate athlete, first contacted us in late 2019. We thought her envisioned research had the potential to make a real clinical impact for future patients. So we decided to support her work right from the start and we are looking forward to more scientific publications arising from this study! A fantastic new paper is out by Matthew Wipperman on digital endpoints for new drug developments leveraging our new #rego #sensorinsoles
Happy to share our paper published today in eLife! This collaborative effort, involving the hard work of several talented interns, presents a meaningful contribution to digital biomarker research. We demonstrate that digital insoles can be used to analyze gait in knee osteoarthritis patients comparable to lab-based clinical assessments, and can be used to identify subject-specific gait patterns. A big thank you to all involved! https://lnkd.in/eNgTTmhz eLife Sciences Publications, Ltd. What an exciting trip we had to American College of Sports Medicine #ACSM24 in Boston last week: incredibly dedicated and open minded crowd of researchers, therapists, and trainers sharing state of the art insights to sports medicine. Thanks to the committee!!! Our main mission was presenting our new #rego product for standardized #gaitanalysis and tests in #performancesports - but so much more has opened up: what started with some light talks with treadmill specialist Woodway GmbH’s German sales lead Michael Brink just a few weeks earlier has culminated in starting off a strategic partnership with Woodway USA as our CEO Maximilian Müller met Jon Bayerlein, international sales director, to negotiate the business. Agreement without any doubt: the venture will serve both sides' business development extremely well right from the start. => See Max & Jon’s joint statement 🎙 in the video below! 💪 🎖 In the aftermath, we now push hard to start shipping #rego in the U.S. and are confident that the step overseas is exactly the right thing to do with this product.

First and foremost, THANK YOU Michael Brink for sparking this partnership with great verve. Just little more than 8 weeks from a first treadmill #rego #gaitanalysis prototype through a teaser show at the FIBO in Germany all the way to the meeting of our CEO Maximilian Müller and Jon Bayerlein at the great American College of Sports Medicine #acsm2024 in Boston. We feel extraordinary positive about this partnership, as it rests on the commitment to serve our customers with excellent technology to bring #sportsmedicine forward and on the mutual trust in product quality which is made by all the dedicated people behind the scenes.

Finally! Moticon goes west American College of Sports Medicine #acsm24 annual meeting. One of the most important and impressive conferences for topics related to #sportsmedicine. For the first time, we go to U.S. territory with our new #rego #sensorinsoles and standardized motion tests designed for supporting physicians and trainers in #performancesports to get athletes to their peak and support them after injuries with evidence based biomechanical insights. While Moticon AG is a leading force with its research products in the U.S. clinical community, sports medicine and performance sports in general is new ground for us and the market poses a completely different, more challenging set of requirements as the products are used in harsh environments on a daily basis. With an excellent #rego product line, which exactly meets these requirements, a local warehouse in the U.S. for fast drop shipments and a stunning track record in the scientific communicty, we are confident, well prepared and highly motivated to take the first steps and enter into a fast growing market in the world's largest economy.

Universitätsklinikum des Saarlandes under the lead of director Tim Pohlemann is currently developing groundbreaking smart implants for tibial fractures, leveraging real-life gait data from Moticon AG's OpenGo #insole3 #sensorinsole to reduce complication rates and improve fracture healing at large. The research got kicked off in 2019, funded with a whopping €8M by Werner Siemens-Stiftung. Just recently first outcomes got published in scientific journals with more insights to come shortly. This is why 3sat took a chance to cover the project in its popular Nano TV series on April 18th. Take a look at how Moticon AG products were used in the project and the cutting edge approaches the team around Bergita Ganse is working on, including artificial intelligence to cluster and assess human motion. 10+ years of ongoing enhancements in our wireless in-shoe sensors and analytics software with regards to data validity and usability have led to top notch clinical research posing a stronghold of Moticon’s portfolio and a must for any project related to real-life #gaitanalysis. There's more exciting work in the pipeline! For the Moticon team, though, it’s great to see that taking on the most sophisticated technological challenges in wearable technologies ultimately leads to cutting edge innovations and progress for the good of patients and athletes. This is exactly why we started out. See links in comments for the original content!

Thanks Michael Brink for the opportunity to start working with one of the world's leading treadmill vendors Woodway GmbH! We know each other for quite a while and it is great to see that timing is important when it comes to starting new avenues 😉
We loved to learn just recently that many professional treadmill users in clinics and performance labs are in need for a cutting edge #gaitanalysis or #runninganalysis. The topic is hot because functional outcomes are key to objectively assess the quality of motion and to develop individualized training or rehab programs. And while our #ReGo product plays out its competitive advantage in mobile motion testing with patients or athletes in real life, it is certainly a good match for high quality indoor testing, too. Moreover, users have access to the entire range of #ReGo motion tests for #returntosport and #performancediagnostic. So it was a real pleasure for our team to join Michael Brink and Woodway GmbH on FIBO last week for showcasing our latest #gaitanalysis tests on their treadmills. Given the visitors' attention, we feel that the small mission sparked a new strategic partnership big time. It will be very exciting to see the response of U.S. users as we will bring the combined solution to #ACSM24 conference of American College of Sports Medicine in May as part of Moticon AG’s #ReGo exhibition portfolio.
