A new approach to education🚀🚀! How do we prepare our #trainees for the future and how do we discover the best of their potential💪? We were able to discuss new ideas and creative ways to training at the IHK #network meeting of trainers at MT Aerospace AG . Together with the MAN Energy Solutions training center, we want to take training in Augsburg to a new level and thus optimally prepare young talents for their careers. In addition to #mentoring programs, digital platforms and personal development, #sustainability, work-life-balance and #flexibility are the most important factors that we offer in training and must constantly adapt and optimize. In a rapidly changing world, it is crucial that trainers always stay up to date☝️. Therefore, the exchange with like-minded people was a valuable contribution to the daily challenges. Many thanks to everyone for the creative inputs, exciting discussions and innovative exchange of ideas. IHK Schwaben #rocketscience #spaceEnablers #worklifebalace #personality

☝️NEW MATERIAL☝️for additive manufacturing: We proudly present A20X. This high-strength aluminum material can be used at high temperatures as it is temperature-resistant up to 250°C🔥. In contrast to comparable alloys, A20X has amazing material properties in hot environments🔥, great corrosion #resistance and a superior surface #quality. With our in-house developed printing parameter we are able to print A20X completely crack-free and with really low porosity, which is ideal for cyclical stresses. Processable on all of our PBF systems, A20X can be used for chassis and engine components, hydraulic parts, brake components and more, commonly used in the #racing and #aerospace sector. The great surface quality allows the usage of the material for aerodynamic components. Therefore we announce our #partnership with Eckart - together we will push the material onto the next level. Our parameter know-how combined with the material knowledge of our partner will push the additive possibilities into new spheres 🚀. Our customers have now the chance to participate of the amazing material properties of A20X for their projects. Let‘s do it 👍 #MTAdditive #rocketscience #lightweight #3D #formnext2024

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming the Bavarian Economic Advisory Council to MT Aerospace AG. The Economic Advisory Board is the link between the Bavarian #economy and #politics, whose support is enormously important and necessary for the aerospace industry 🚀✈️, among other things. Our COO Bernd Beschorner was delighted to have the opportunity to discuss the prospects and importance of the regional economy - especially, of course, the aerospace industry. During the company tour, we were able to present our state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies and illustrate that #Augsburg plays an important reginal, national and international role. The Bavarian economy is a key player for European #sovereignty in #space and is decisive for future technologies and innovations that will improve our daily lives thanks to space travel 🚀. We would like to thank all visitors for their time and the exciting exchange. In particular, we would like to thank Dr. Georg Haindl, Chairman of the District of Ausgsburg and North Swabia, for the organization. #rocketscience #spaceEnablers #bavaria

Exploration in space 🚀: Our first hardware for a mission to the surface of Mars 👉 MT Aerospace AG will supply a HeHPV tank for the landing module on board the first European Mars rover “Rosalind Franklin”. The tank from #Augsburg is an essential component for the rover's landing maneuver in order to quickly create the necessary pressure equalization. The tank with a volume of 65 liters presses helium into the large propellant tanks to be able to successfully perform the final landing maneuver. The launch of Rosalind Franklin, named after the British chemist who discovered the double helix of our #DNA structure, is planned for 2028. The mission: Rosalind will embark on an exploratory journey to search for past and present signs of life on Mars using ground penetrating radar and a series of cameras. It will dig, collect and analyze the chemical composition of the material collected by a drill. Rosalind Franklin will be the first rover to penetrate up to two meters below the surface and collect samples that are protected from surface radiation and extreme temperatures. The mission will serve to demonstrate key technologies that Europe can use for #future planetary #exploration missions. #ExoMars #space #spaceEnablers #marsmission

Space nerds at MT Aerospace AG 🚀👨🚀🪐 - we inspire young people. The scientific working group for rocket technology and space travel at the Technical University of Munich (WARR) visited us as part of their studies. After a brief introduction to MT Aerospace, the exciting part began in our factory halls. The aerospace enthusiasts were very interested in our #CFRP area and additive manufacturing. The intensive exchange with our colleague Peter Ortmann was therefore certainly a highlight of the visit, as the students had many technical questions. Our expertise and developments for reusable rocket components point the way to the future of space travel 🚀🚀 and we were delighted to share our know-how with the young people, because they are the #future of our space travel. #rocketscience #space #spaceEnablers #students #lightweight #MTAdditive

Rethinking safety culture - what medicine 🩺 can learn from the aerospace industry 🚀 Bernd Beschorner, COO at MT Aerospace AG gave an exciting presentation at the first Safety Convention of the Swabian Chamber of Industry and Commerce to show how proven safety strategies from #aviation can serve as inspiration for medicine. Whether checklists, error culture or clear communication structures - in the aerospace industry, safety is at the heart ❤️of everything we do. Applied to medicine, such standardization and regulations could minimize risks and thus improve patient safety. In his presentation, he gave practical insights and showed how a safety-first mentality, preventive risk management and structured processes in aviation can achieve an extremely high level of #safety for the passengers. Thank you very much for the clear view on a topic that is so important for all of us! And many thanks to Klaus Markstaller, CEO at Universitätsklinikum Augsburg, who initiated the cooperation between medicine and industry.
