Here are 5 common mistakes to avoid when you are interested in buying or leasing shipping containers: 1️⃣ Underestimating cargo volume: Failing to accurately assess the total cargo volume can result in selecting containers that are too small, leading to inefficient packing and higher costs. 2️⃣ Disregarding weight limits: As previously mentioned, each container has specific weight limits. Exceeding these limits can lead to additional fees or even cargo damage during transportation. 3️⃣ Neglecting cargo type: Different goods require different handling. For example, perishable goods require refrigerated containers, and fragile cargo like porcelain figurines requires extra care and packaging.  4️⃣ Not considering specialized containers: Standard containers may not always be the best fit.
