🕮 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵: How Laser-Enabled MEA Technology Unlocks Action Potential Insights in Cardiac Organoids Studying action potentials (APs) in cardiac organoids is now more precise than ever! Using the Foresee Biosystems #IntraCell in conjunction with the Multi Channel Systems GmbH #MEA2100Mini, AP data was effectively captured from organoids grown by researchers at Michigan State University by leveraging laser-based optoporation to stimulate #cardiomyocytes. 🧠 Neuronal organoids are transforming our understanding of brain development and neurological disorders, yet there’s room to refine the methods for growing them. Researchers at the University of Cambridge have utilized our MEA system to characterize a novel approach: growing neuronal #organoids in an air-liquid interface.
