Bavarian State Government sets course for the further development of Munich Quantum Valley. At its cabinet meeting on 11 February, the Bavarian State Government reaffirmed its commitment to MQV, thereby setting a bold course for its continued expansion. This decision paves the way for MQV’s overarching mission: to develop and operate cutting-edge quantum computers for real-world applications, in close collaboration with visionary start-ups and leading industrial partners. In addition we are happy to announce an intensified strategic partnership with SAP that will accelerate quantum-driven start-up innovations, integrate quantum into enterprise software solutions, and further expand Bavaria's leadership in the global quantum ecosystem. With these decisive steps, MQV is not only shaping the future of quantum computing and orchestrating an innovative ecosystem – MQV is reinforcing Bavaria's global position at the forefront of the quantum revolution. However, special software is required to ensure that they can be used smoothly. The basis of this software, developed 10 years ago, has now been honored with the award.
