  • 🐻🍬 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗺𝗺𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀! 🐻 Fruit gummies are sweet and sour at the same time, taste good and are probably somewhat addictive. 😜 Their taste and bite behavior are affected by temperature and humidity, which influence their elasticity and firmness. 🧪📊 In this study, we used Dynamic-Mechanical Analysis (DMA) to explore how humidity impacts the elasticity and firmness of vegan and gelatin-based gummy bears. 🔬 Key Findings: ✅ Both vegan and gelatin-based gummies become stiffer when dried and softer when exposed to higher humidity. ✅ The vegan gummy bears exhibited higher stiffness under all humidity conditions. ✅ Measurements were performed using the High-Force DMA EPLEXOR® equipped with a humidity generator. This study highlights the importance of moisture management in food products and demonstrates how DMA testing can provide insights into consumer perception and texture behavior. 👉 Discover the science behind your favorite sweet treats: https://buff.ly/3QDRc2N #NETZSCH #ProvenExcellence #DMA #FoodAnalysis #MaterialCharacterization #GummyBears
