As an early-stage gaming startup one of the best things we got out of our time at #gamescom was speaking with future players. What we learned: - Story sells the vision - How to pitch our game in 10 seconds - A surprise we didn't expect: Our pitch and first card artwork resonated with 8-15 age group - Older male sports target audience also responded well despite the initial suspicion of being approached by a stranger at a busy convention Our biggest win at Gamescom? Out of 116 projects in soonami.io GmbH venturethon cohort 4 we won the EIR (Entrepreneur in Residence) track with the highest monetary prize! At Never Not Play, we believe gamers' time is precious. Our goal is to bring back the excitement of beloved past games in a way that fits busy adult lives. Our first concept: a futuristic sports MMORPG with 24/7 gameplay. Manage your team, win loot, and upgrade your players in a post-apocalyptic sports arena that blends simulation with real-world events. If the concept intruiges you we will be allowing first batch of testers in the coming weeks, sign up on our website with your email to get on the list.
