MUNICH is the best place to be! according to Lufthansa Innovation Hub, V2Air, Roland Berger and Unisphere. In a massive research project the best places to launch a Advanced Air Mobility have been identified. Six factors have been analysed to find the best spots: 1. Terrain 2. Airspace 3. Authority 4. Weather 5. Area 6. Time Saving The results: Munich is in the Prime zone of future Advanced Air Mobility, offering best viability and best feasibility. So ODONATA is in one of the best spots in the world, and the best in Europe for its business to bring an eVTOL with about 1,000km range and a payload of up to 800 kg to market. Our use cases of crossing the alps from Munich to lake Garda confirm excactly those results. Saving time, saving money and having less stress on the road.

This week, EnBW and Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. organized the Offshore Drone Challenge at the National Test Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems in Cochstedt.  The long distances from shore to windparks, which are typically covered by vessels or helicopters, make the maintenance and repair of wind turbines a challenge. In future, drones could be used to transport tools, materials and personnel to wind farms more quickly and cost-effectively. On Wednesday and Thursday, several international drone companies (Phoenix-Wings GmbH, Solectric GmbH and Stromkind) competed against each other to present the state of the technology and the characteristics of the drones in various competition flights.  Odonata was also invited to the event to present the Odonata Hoverplane in the static display area.  With the high payload properties due to our hydrogen powertrain, Odonata's Hoverplane could also be a useful fit for transporting people and maintenance equipment to wind farms in the future.  We were very pleased about the exciting exchange with experts from the offshore, energy and drone industry.  Many thanks also to Anke Kaysser-Pyzalla, Chairwoman of the Executiv Board at DLR, who also stopped by at our stand and for the interesting conversation. Amazing time at GREENTECH FESTIVAL 2024 in Berlin last week. We had the great opportunity to present the ODONATA Hoverplane as part of the future and sustainable oriented GreenTech Festival to the public that was attended by 14,000 visitors, 200 exhibitors and 350 speakers across 4 halls and 6 stages. During the GREENTECH FESTIVAL in Berlin from May 15 - 17, 2024, everyone who wants to make a difference once again came together at the Messe Berlin Exhibition Grounds. For three days, everything revolved around the latest technologies for a sustainable lifestyle. People, organizations and companies from all over the world came together to discuss and promote ways out of the climate crisis. The festival offers a space for mutual exchange and inspiration and is a global platform under the same name. Apart from our exhibition booth, where we were able to show interested visitors the Odonata Hoverplane and our approach to sustainable aviation , we also had the great opportunity to speak at the Solution Stage.
