Our customer, the French building materials trading group Gedibois Derrey, has equipped its new subsidiary in Metz with our innovative #cantileverracks. Thanks to customized adaptations - including asymmetrical racking structures and partially hot-dip galvanized uprights - numerous types of #wood can be stored in a space-saving, efficient, and protected manner, even in the partially open drive-in area. Revolutionizing Storage in 2025: Green Energy Meets Smart Racking Solutions 🚀 At OHRA, we're not just storing materials - we're transforming industrial infrastructure into sustainable energy powerhouses! Our outdoor racks can be equipped with specialized support profiles and roof bars for solar module installation. For example, our customer Tischlerei Torsten Schmidt in Pößneck near Jena, Germany, has implemented this innovative solution. We recommend a roof pitch of approximately 30 degrees, which optimizes the yield from the photovoltaic system, along with a southern orientation. The 30-meter-long rack line provides about 60 m² of usable roof area, generating between 7,700 and 12,000 kWh of green electricity annually.
