With over 50k views on the last post it shows people are interested in what we are doing at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies in Holly Springs. Later this year when we become operational, we will be the largest end to end CDMO in the United States. When finished we will have 16 20k liter bioreactors for your #DrugSubstance needs and we will have approximately 25 million units of capacity on this filler. As FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies adds #DrugProduct operations to their resume I want the industry to follow along with what we are doing and how we are doing it. In this post you will see the OPTIMA packaging group Filler / Isolator has been mechanically put together. The team is now working on electrical. It’s not like plugging in an appliance in your kitchen. A shipping container was sent from Germany full of electrical wiring, which all has to be put into place perfectly. I added arrows so you can follow along with the flow of the units (remember this is multi-use so we can fill vials, syringes, or cartridges).
