🌱 "Stronger Together for Climate Justice" 🌍 The New Plant-for-the-Planet Academy is here! This fall, we gave our academy program a makeover! After 15 years and over 100,000 trained Climate Justice Ambassadors worldwide, we have adapted the program to meet the needs of the future. 🛠️ In 11 academies across Germany, 349 new Ambassadors have already been empowered with the new concept. It’s not just about knowledge — it’s about networks. Because we are stronger when we act together! Children and young people experience that they are not alone in the fight against the climate crisis. With Plant-for-the-Planet, they are part of a global movement advocating for climate justice. 🌱💪 The new program takes a holistic approach: 🌿 With the Net-Game, children experience how strong each individual can be within a network and how deeply connected we are to forest ecosystems. 🌿 In the Plan(t)-Game, they gain an understanding of complex climate crisis decisions in a playful way. 🌿 And of course, the legendary Planting Action remains an essential part! A special highlight: Every new Ambassador plans their own action, which will be implemented with the support of Plant-for-the-Planet! 🎯 As a grand finale, each child receives their Climate Justice Ambassador certificate and officially joins the network. The program has been evaluated by Prof. Dr. Norbert Frieters-Reermann and Bianca Löffelmann from the Institute for Education and Diversity Research at the Katholische Hochschule Nordrhein-Westfalen. Franziska Trefzer from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg contributed her expertise, focusing on plan games in schools and higher education. 🚀 New: School Workshops! "No matter how big the vision, no matter how far you might feel from the “center of power.” — together you can make it happen." At 11 years old, Jule Schnakenberg became a Climate Justice Ambassador for Plant-for-the-Planet.
