From theory to practice - Lena's journey at Porsche Digital 🎓🚀 Meet Lena Lazaridis, one of our first dual students, who recently completed her bachelor degree at DHBW Ravensburg. 🎉 Her final project was even exhibited at the Kunstmuseum Ravensburg! During her dual study program, Lena moved between the classroom and Porsche Digital every three months. With us, she was able to actively participate in exciting projects such as the conception and design of model pages on Porsche.com and various research initiatives. A special highlight for her was the support of her mentor Simeon Herrmann, who had a strong influence on her both professionally and personally. Now that she has successfully completed her studies, Lena is starting her career as a UX designer at Porsche Digital. Congratulations, Lena! That’s why Porsche Digital was founded in 2016 as the technology and digital unit of Porsche AG. Our primary mission is to discover and scale new digital business models, as well as to optimize existing products. To do so, we’re creating technologically advanced industry solutions while expanding the digital ecosystem through collaboration with promising start-ups. These are located in Ludwigsburg, Berlin, Tel Aviv, Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Barcelona, Zagreb, Atlanta and Palo Alto in Silicon Valley.

How can German companies remain competitive in the age of rapid technological progress? Several representatives from science, politics, and industry came together at the Rethink.Mittelstand forum, hosted by the TUM Campus Heilbronn and Studio ZX | ZEIT Verlagsgruppe, to discuss this question. The central finding: close collaboration among different players, complemented by high-quality education at the interface between technology and business, is a success factor for future viability in this technological age. Dr. Peter Wolf, Data Science Manager & AI Topic Lead at Porsche Digital, was one of the participating speakers, providing insights into how our collaboration with the Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (IPAI) and the Porsche Digital Campus are opening opportunities for cross-company exchange. With that, we can create offerings that empower students and professionals to actively shape the digital future by adopting innovative technologies. But how does this work in practice? For example, by enabling an organization in the form of mentoring programs, specialist lectures, and practical training. Or by creating a unique environment to attract and promote talent in the fields of AI and software through collaborations with universities and partners. The discussions during this event not only generated new impulses but also offered valuable practical examples on how companies can leverage technologies such as AI and data analytics to promote growth and efficiency – this way ensuring innovative strength in global competition. This Tuesday, we had the privilege of welcoming around 50 talented students from the ESCP Business School at our Berlin office. Over the past few weeks, these future innovators have been working closely with us, immersing themselves in various product ideas and exploring the exciting possibilities within Porsche Digitals’s fields of innovation. Focusing on the theme “Next Generation’s Innovations X Porsche Digital”, the students delivered impressive presentations that demonstrated the depth of their research and fresh perspectives on how the next generation envisions the future of our industry. Their work inspired us and reaffirmed our belief in the power of collaboration between Porsche Digital and the brightest minds of tomorrow. We are thrilled to have strengthened our tie with one of Berlin’s top business schools and look forward to more groundbreaking projects with these future talents! Corinna G. is one of our many talented software developers at Porsche Digital Barcelona. Working in the Communities team, she’s building a cross-platform application for Porsche owners that are also passionate about golf and GT cars. Corinna joined the team over two years ago, but didn’t come from a technical background. In fact, she was previously working as a project manager at an NGO. Corinna decided to change her career and studied at a boot camp to gain software skills, before then applying to Porsche Digital. “Coming from a different background, you might feel a bit insecure about your abilities,” says Corinna. “But here, I’ve never doubted what I was able to do. I’ve found a lot of good mentors that have helped me to grow, and the people I’m surrounded by are really the best asset of this company!”
