Innovation in the transportation sector - the final of the innovation competition with Daimler Truck AG! The final took place in Leinfelden on October 22nd. The impressive premises, welcomed by the prominent Daimler Truck logo and a huge truck in the reception hall, provided the perfect backdrop for the 3 finalists: proband15, Nuverse- The new language of health and SDP. The challenge: to recognize early on when truck drivers can no longer drive safely - using wearables or cameras.  The three finalists – Nuverse, SDP, and Proband 15 – impressed the jury with creative and forward-thinking approaches to this important topic. Congratulations to the winners! Just as the limited piano keyboard of the 18th century was a springboard for masterpieces by Mozart and Beethoven, time-limited projects inspire innovative teams to develop prototypes efficiently and purposefully.” In his role at prototype.club, Joel connects start-ups with established companies, creating spaces in which ideas can flourish. Der Staat als Kunde für StartUps und Innovation – Reform des Vergaberechts im Kabinett beschlossen 🚀 Der Staat kauft im Jahr mehr als 100 Milliarden Euro Produkte und Dienstleistungen ein. Darin steckt ein riesiges Potential, innovative Unternehmen durch Aufträge des Staates voranzubringen. Mit dem heutigen Kabinettsbeschluss zur Reform des Vergaberechts zeigen wir auf, wie dieses Potential besser genutzt werden könnte. Dies ist der erste und wichtigste Baustein für das #Vergabetransformationspaket. Besonders am Herzen liegt mir dabei natürlich die Direktvergabe für innovative Leistungen an Start-ups und gemeinwohlorientierte Unternehmen bis zu einem Auftragsvolumen von 100.000 Euro. Dadurch wird es einfacher, StartUps zu beauftragen. Eine große Chance, #StartUp Germany weiter zu stärken. Ich werde daher stark dafür werben, dass das Paket auch im Bundestag verabschiedet wird.
