Our TUM Venture Labs Night was a huge success! 🚀 Together with more than 300 passionate people from our entire ecosystem - academia, industry, politics, finance, and startups - we had an evening full of inspiring talks and deep discussions in four different sessions focusing on #cleantech, #lifesciences, #sciencepreneurship, and #AI. Our community is growing stronger every day!📈   Thomas F. Hofmann, president of the Technical University of Munich – the entrepreneurial university - highlighted our potential as the top-ranked university of the EU. With thousands of scientists and more than 50.000 students, we show every day how to turn cross-functional, groundbreaking research into real-world innovations. Stefan Drüssler, COO of UnternehmerTUM, showed how the Munich entrepreneurial ecosystem has proved resilient in the current VC crisis and has become the core European tech hub – while the godfather and founder of UnternehmerTUM, Helmut Schoenenberger was relaxing in the back :) We had a great time sharing ideas and making connections. Philipp Gerbert, CEO of TUM Venture Labs, summarized our strong pipeline and unique approach: "We are the most interconnected #network in #deeptech and life sciences globally, and with close to 500 ventures in our pipeline, we're excited to continue building this ecosystem with our parents UnternehmerTUM and TUM, and the tremendous support from family offices, corporates, and the Bavarian government." Philipp also presented the richness of the group of 16 Managing and Operational Directors across all 12 TUM Venture Labs, from Healthcare to Quantum, from Aerospace to Robotics, from Clean-Tech to Food/Agro, including our remote locations in Straubing and Heilbronn!
