We are incredibly grateful and proud that our film „Eine einzelne Tat“ (A Single Incident) has been awarded the German Short Film Award 2024 in the category of documentary films up to 30 minutes! This journey has been full of ups and downs, starting researching in 2020, followed by a six-month stay in Hanover in 2021, made possible through the #Cast&Cut scholarship by nordmedia – Film- und Mediengesellschaft and #StiftungKulturregionHannover with the support of Die Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien. Without so many people this film would never have come to life. First and foremost, we wholeheartedly thank Arkan’s family for the trust they placed in us. Without the support of Behiye Uca and @hatti_celle none of this would have been possible. Thank you, Michael Trammer for sharing your invaluable research with us and for your important work. Thank you Lena Eggers for drawing our attention to this. To the the lawyers Necdal Disli and Rechtsanwalt Fuat Yalti for taking the time for us. 📣 Radpaar Films für Deutschen Kurzfilmpreis nominiert Kulturstaatsministerin Claudia Roth hat am Freitag die Nominierungen für den diesjährigen Deutschen #Kurzfilmpreis bekannt gegeben. Unter den zwölf ausgewählten Projekten ist auch ein Film der Leipziger Produktionsfirma radpaar films. Die Firma von Constanze Wolpers und Jonas Eisenschmidt gehörte zum zweiten Jahrgang der MDM-Gründerinitiative #MEDIAstart. ↗️ 📖 Constanze Wolpers kehrt in EINE EINZELNE TAT nach Celle zurück, die Stadt, in der sie aufgewachsen ist. Dort wurde sechs Wochen nach Hanau der Jeside Arkan Hussein Khalaf erstochen, die Polizei spricht von einem ‚Zufallsopfer‘. Für EINE EINZELNE TAT erhielt die Regisseurin die lobende Erwähnung im „Mitteldeutschen Wettbewerb“ des Filmfest Dresden 2024. Nun geht der Film in der Kategorie „Dokumentarfilm bis 30 Minuten Laufzeit“ ins Rennen um den mit 30.000 Euro dotierten Deutschen Kurzfilmpreis. Die Preisverleihung findet am 21.
