    As we prepare to share some exciting news for #THA research in the coming weeks, we’re throwing it back to where it all started - Our 2D/3D registration algorithm for assessing cup anteversion, inclination, and polyethylene wear. Measuring hip implant inclination and anteversion is a delicate task, and two key questions often come up: 1️⃣ What happens if a patient isn’t aligned in the frontal plane due to their unique pelvic morphology? 2️⃣ How do changes in implant appearance from the patient’s offset position to the central X-ray beam affect measurements? That’s why we developed an AI algorithm to address this challenge.     Last week, we had the privilege of exchanging ideas for the comprehensive and systematic implementation of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (#PROMs) in Germany at the 13. MVF-Congress in Berlin. Here are our highlights➡️ - Germany's neighboring countries, which are more centrally organized, are often significantly more decisive and faster when it comes to introducing new technologies and standards. - The path to comprehensive implementation of PROMs therefore remains long. BUT technology likely won't be the problem! Especially as #FHIR becomes the standard with which we will communicate in the future. Rather, political and substantive issues require further discussion. Thank you to the diverse group of healthcare actors, including representatives from the Royal Danish Embassy, Technische Universität Berlin, Aktionsbündnis Patientensicherheit e.     🔍 Study Spotlight: Optimizing #PROMs Collection at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin with the UNITY Platform A recent study from Charité, Berlin, highlighted the time efficiency and accuracy benefits of ePROMs (electronic Patient-Reported Outcome Measures) over aPROMs (analog PROMs) using RAYLYTIC’s UNITY platform. Key Findings: - ePROMs took significantly less time (9.41 min) compared to aPROMs (11.97 min), improving workflow efficiency. - The use of ePROMs also reduces data entry errors when transferring information to the hospital’s EHR system, ensuring greater accuracy. - Age is not relevant for questionnaire completion duration This study underscores the importance of digitization in healthcare for improving both patient care and operational efficiency.     This paper is a significant contribution to understanding #scoliosis progression and highlights the critical factors clinicians should consider for effective management. The paper's findings underline key predictors of curve progression in #AIS: Unbraced Patients: Initial Cobb angle > 25° (high evidence) and thoracic curve type (moderate evidence). Braced Patients: Flexibility < 28% (high evidence) and limited in-brace correction (moderate evidence). Other Factors: Thoracic curves, high apical vertebral rotation, rib vertebra angle differences, and low pelvic tilt, though supported by weaker evidence, also contribute to progression risk.
