Santa Claus and the boot of the future 🎅   Once upon a time, Santa Claus found a very special boot on his doorstep one snowy night - made from KRAEMER's bio-based resins. Successful ISO 14001 certification process at KRAEMER We are pleased to announce another milestone for our company: KRAEMER has successfully completed the ISO 14001 certification process! 🎉 After months of intensive preparation, the time had finally come: 👉 Stage 1 was successfully completed on August 27th under the supervision of the lead auditor from TÜV Nord. 👉 Stage 2 took place from November 18 to 21, 2024 - and we successfully met the requirements here as well. With this certification process, we have demonstrated that operational environmental protection is a central component of our corporate strategy. Our goal is to avoid or minimize environmental impact and to use resources sustainably. A big thank you goes to all our employees who have made this success possible through their commitment, but especially to Dr. Sven Hoffmeister, our Head of Sustainability, Management Systems & Regulatory Affairs, who actively prepared and supported this process. Review of the Chemistry Day at the University of Oldenburg We were able to provide exciting insights into our work and our sustainable solutions in chemistry as a participant in this event. There was particularly strong interest in our binders and resins, which are based on renewable raw materials - a clear sign of the importance of environmentally friendly innovations in the chemical industry! As an apprentice chemical laboratory technician, how did Julia experience her first weeks at KRAEMER? What were her impressions and which experiences inspired her most? Julia talks about her start with us in an interview. 🙌💚 💬 "You've been at KRAEMER for a few weeks now, how have they been?" ➡️Julia: I felt very welcome and I like being here. I'm really enjoying my work, I definitely know that I've chosen the right apprenticeship and of course the team is great too. 💬 "Which department are you currently working in and what are your responsibilities there?" ➡️Julia: I'm currently working in the research and development lab. At first I was assigned standard tests, e.g. determining the acid number or the color number, testing solubilities, etc., and soon I will be making my own solutions and taking over more and more of the tasks that the others do on a daily basis.   💬 "Why did you decide to become a chemical lab technician?" ➡️Julia: I knew for sure that I wanted to do an apprenticeship after I finished school because I wanted to do a "real" job. What's great about this job is that you're always moving and doing something with your hands that you get to touch, not just sitting in front of a computer. 💬 "How many days a week do you have a vocational school or do you have a block of lessons?" ➡️Julia: Two days a week, Mondays and Fridays. I'm glad I'm not stuck in the classroom and I'm working in the field, not sitting in school. I like the variety. Thanks Julia for the review.
