Neues Engagement für unseren CFO Martin Sieringhaus: im Rahmen der Vorstandssitzung des VDMA NRW in Wiehl wurde er in den Vorstand des VDMA NRW (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau, Landesverband Nordrhein-Westfalen) gewählt. Der nordrhein-westfälische Landesverband des VDMA bildet mit über 800 Mitgliedsunternehmen eines der größten Netzwerke innerhalb des Gesamtverbandes. Dieser gilt als Spitzenorganisation des deutschen Maschinen- und Anlagenbaus und ist einer der bedeutendsten Verbandsdienstleister in Europa. Mit Martin Sieringhaus gewinnt der VDMA NRW ein im Maschinenbau langjährig etabliertes Vorstandsmitglied. Unsere Betriebsratsmitglieder Marco Tobae und Meike Schillings waren zu Gast im Kinderheim Kastanienhof Krefeld und überreichten einen Spendenscheck über 4.000 Euro an Lucian Bartels und Jens Lüdert. Die Spende illustrierte: die Förderung von Kindern liegt Siempelkämpern aus ganz unterschiedlichen Unternehmensbereichen am Herzen. Die Siempelkamp-Betriebsräte und -Pensionäre widmeten den Erlös ihrer diesjährigen Tombola des Pensionärstreffens dem Kinderheim Kastanienhof; die Siempelkamp-Geschäftsführung stockte den Betrag auf. Eine zweite Spende der Eugen-Siempelkamp-Stiftung von ebenfalls 5.000 Euro erhält „Stulle & Co“, ein Projekt der Kindertafel der Tafel Krefeld e.V.. Hier steht im Mittelpunkt, Kindern aus armutsbetroffenen Familien den Start in den Kindergartentag mit einem gesunden Frühstück zu erleichtern. „Dieses Projekt trägt dazu bei, dass Kinder mit Spaß und Genuss erfahren, was schmeckt und ihnen guttut. Jedes vierte Kind in Krefeld gilt als bedürftig, was die Notwendigkeit der Arbeit der Kindertafel sehr deutlich macht. ‚Stulle & Co.‘ ist ein besonderes Projekt, dem wir herzlich gerne eine Spende widmen“, so Ricarda Werner, Mitglied im Vorstand der Eugen-Siempelkamp-Stiftung, mit Isabell Weller, Tanja Kirsch-Boy, Timo Amels und Stefan Ziemes.
