🚀💻 #DevOps New Year's #Resolutions for 2025 🌟 From #YAML mastery to a healthier relationship with #DNS, here are some lighthearted (but meaningful) resolutions for the tech year ahead. 1️⃣More YAML, less WTF. This year, let’s write YAML files that we understand six months later! 2️⃣Embrace failure (but only in staging). In 2025, production should not be the testing environment. For real this time. Maybe. 3️⃣Fix DNS... or at least blame it less. New Year’s goal: Learn what DNS actually does. Bonus: Get an LLM to debug it before you rage quit. 4️⃣Automate everything (except coffee breaks). Scripts are great, but never automate your break time. Humans need rest, even in a world of CI/CD. 5️⃣More testing! Write tests. Run tests. Ignore tests. Repeat. 6️⃣Less “hotfix at 3 AM”, more “reliable pipelines”. This year, let’s aim for fewer "quick fixes" and more "it just works" moments. 7️⃣#Kubernetes – it’s not going anywhere. In 2025, we accept that Kubernetes is still here. Let’s finally learn it properly (or at least fake it better in meetings). 8️⃣Stop blaming the intern. Let’s be honest: It wasn’t the intern who left [sudo rm -rf /]. 9️⃣More logs ≠ more clarity. New goal: Write logs we actually understand without a Rosetta Stone. 🔟Reduce mate consumption... or increase it. The choice is yours.
