🌱💊 In February 2024, the Society for Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research (GA), in cooperation with Pharma Deutschland and the Bundesverband der Pharmazeutischen Industrie (BPI), hosted the "European Herbal Health Products Summit – Which Way Forward?" in Brussels – on the occasion of, among other things, the ongoing revision of European pharmaceutical legislation and the discussions on health claims of herbal food supplements (botanicals). 📝 The consensus on the current challenges for herbal medicines developed by decision-makers from politics, authorities, industry and science was recently published in an open access article in the journal Planta Medica.
