We met with customers and partners and learned about trends and developments in the education sector. In cooperation with the Didacta Verband e. V., our team contributed to expert panels and interactive sessions, exchanging ideas with researchers, educators, and industry leaders on how to shape a more inclusive and future-oriented education system. 💡 Key highlights: 🤝 Democracy in schools: Together with Dominik Rehermann, Tobias Herrmann kicked things off by exploring how schools can become more democratic within existing structures. Democracy in education isn’t just about elections - it’s about daily participation and shared decision-making in school life. 📚 The future of educational media: Stephan Bayer joined a discussion on how publishers are navigating the transition from print to AI-driven and digital learning solutions. What will learning materials of the future look like? The transformation is already happening! 🚀 Global innovations in education: As part of a panel about international best-practice ideas from schools, we shared examples from the U.S. and Costa Rica. 🗳️ With elections coming up next week, understanding how German political parties shape their educational policies is more relevant than ever. In a special edition Miriam Strasmann, Dieter Dohmen (FiBS Forschungsinstitut für Bildungs- und Sozialökonomie), Dr. Tobias Ernst (Stiftung Kinder forschen), and Armin Himmelrath (journalist at DER SPIEGEL) discussed the content and effectiveness of the political programs. ❄️ Remote or in person? Why not both! 🎉 Goodbye 2024, we wrapped you up! Yesterday we came together for a hybrid Winter Event from near and far. 💻✨ Here’s what went down: ⭐ We went head-to-head in a remote quiz, testing our knowledge of...well, mostly random things. Spoiler: Googling answers was not allowed! 😉❓ ⭐ Meanwhile, in Berlin, the team got cozy at our Winter Bash with themed Donuts, delicious Arabian snacks, drinks, and a music mix by Tuncay and Cedric. 🎶🍷🍔 ⭐ Things got festive with Secret Santa, where gifts ranged from thoughtful to “wait...what?” 🎁 ⭐ And our personal favorite: the Wall of Gratitude, where we celebrated what we truly appreciate about each other. 💌 Whether from the office or our living rooms, we had a blast celebrating another year together.
