Erstens streben wir danach, unsere Aluminiumlösungen mit dem technisch höchstmöglichen „recycled content“ anzubieten, weil wir damit Energie und CO2 sparen und auch unsere Kunden genau das nachfragen. Exciting news from Speira Hamburg! We've invested €6.4 million in innovative technology to launch our first 'transparent' melting furnace, which will significantly increase production output and energy efficiency. This means more capacity with an additional 7,500 tonnes per year, 15% less energy consumption, reduced CO2 emissions and the integration of Industry 4.0 technology with AI-driven process control. “This new furnace is of great importance to us. It increases the performance and output of the foundry in Hamburg and helps us to optimize the metal flows and recycling options at Speira,” explains Alexander Doersel, Head of Business Unit Specialties.
