In the coming weeks, these will be reviewed and evaluated in detail before notifications of acceptance are sent out in March. #PARTEC is one of the world's leading scientific congresses for particle technology and offers an international platform for research and development of new technologies. 🌟 Advancing Mixing and Granulation Modeling with rCFD – A great research stay in Linz 🌟 We are proud to share that our PhD student, Shaik Asif, recently completed a two-week research stay at the Particulate Flow Modelling (PFM) department of Stefan Pirker at JKU Linz. This visit was a significant step forward for the C04 project within the CRC 1615 SMART Reactors - TUHH initiative, as Shaik focused on advancing the application of recurrence-based CFD (rCFD). His work involved studying mixing in GF25 fluidized beds and exploring the potential of rCFD for granulation and continuous flow modeling. These advancements will contribute to more efficient, data-driven approaches in process modeling. 📈 We are thrilled that the findings from the fluidized bed mixing study will be presented at the ICMF 2025 conference in Toulouse this May. 👨🏫 Furthermore, Asif will continue to work on implementing the granulation model in rCFD throughout the coming year. We extend our gratitude to Stefan Pirker and Dr. Daniel Queteschiner for their collaborative support. 🙏 Special thanks to the CRC 1615 SMART Reactors - TUHH for funding this impactful research stay.
