    𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗜 𝗮𝗺: Hi there! I’m Alona Korzhakova, a software engineer with a strong background in embedded systems and data science. Originally from Ukraine, I worked on developing advanced firmware for cutting-edge DPUs and HCAs, including BlueField-3 and ConnectX-7, at Mellanox and later NVIDIA. Additionally, I explored the fascinating world of human genomics as a data scientist at the University of California San Diego. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, creating art, and spending time with friends. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜'𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗡𝗡𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀: I’m excited to embark on a new journey as an Embedded Machine Learning Engineer at #SpiNNcloud Systems.     𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗜 𝗮𝗺: Hi, I'm Meriem Amara, an embedded systems engineering intern in the final stretch of my studies, completing my diploma with a project at #SpiNNcloud Systems. My passion lies in optimizing intelligent systems, bridging the gap between AI and hardware to make models run more efficiently on embedded platforms. Over the years, I've worked on robotics, firmware development, and algorithm optimization, always looking for ways to push the limits of performance.  𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜'𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗡𝗡𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀: I’ll be working on preprocessing pipelines to adapt deep learning models for efficient execution on SpiNNaker2. My focus will be computer vision models, and enhancing support for specialized operators in state-of-the-art LLMs. The goal is to tailor these AI architectures to fully leverage #SpiNNaker2’s parallel computing capabilities.  𝗠𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿: I love solving tough problems by breaking them down into simple, structured steps.     𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗜 𝗮𝗺: Hi! My name is Michael Jurado and I received my Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Tech in the Fall of 2022 specializing in Machine Learning. During my degree and my early years as a full time applied researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology, I developed a keen interest in neuromorphic computing which eventually led me to SpiNNcloud. In my free time, I love to read and listen to classical music and opera! 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜'𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗡𝗡𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀: I am joining the team that is scaling up brain-inspired foundation models in SpiNNaker-like architectures. This ongoing effort excites me because it involves combining the computational benefits of SpiNNaker2 (like it's energy efficiency and parallelism) with the high performance of LLMs. 𝗠𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿: My strength as an ML engineer lies in my appreciation for simplicity, modularity, and re-usability in algorithmic design. I believe it is essential to account for the fact that requirements will change over time for real world applications,. By prioritizing cheap adaptability and reprogramming in my designs, I hope to make a longer term and more positive impact in my work.
