My book on AI liability regulation is about to be published by Springer Law. Using Bosnia and Herzegovina as a case study, it examines a question often overlooked: how should AI be treated in legal systems that are not at the forefront of technological or legal development? The book questions the assumption that general liability rules—some of which have existed for centuries—can adequately address AI-related incidents. With the EU abandoning the AI Liability Directive, the role of national legal systems in regulating AI-caused harm become even more significant. This is a discussion that will shape future legal frameworks, and I look forward to engaging with others working on similar issues.
