Uhlmann celebrates record numbers at jubilees ✨   Uhlmann Pac-Systeme in Laupheim was pleased with a new record among long-term employees this year.   2 Employees look back on 50 years of company membership – framed by 3 employees with 40 years and 54 employees who look back on 25 years. In a festive evening last week, the anniversary celebration took place at the Kulturhaus Laupheim, at which the Mayor Ingo Bergmann also conveyed the greetings and congratulations of the city of Laupheim.   Cristian Reiter - as technical managing director - thanked in the name of the Uhlmann family and his management colleagues in his speech for their loyalty and commitment during the many years of cooperation and emphasized that one third of the honored jubilees can look back on an apprenticeship with Uhlmann. The importance of experienced knowledge carriers was and is a success criterion for companies like Uhlmann, and a long company affiliation is also an expression of a corporate culture that is characterized by appreciation and respect.   The event was framed by entertainer Tobias Gnacke, who skillfully entertained the guests in various roles and thus lightened up the entertaining evening.

Andreas Hildenbrand has successfully started his career as a Lead Buyer at Uhlmann Pac-Systeme. He is responsible for suppliers in the areas of Print and Verify as well as Pneumatics.   What is your area of responsibility? Through my work as Lead Buyer, I ensure that we purchase parts of the right quality and at the best possible price. This includes identifying & qualifying potential suppliers as well as contract negotiations and contract management. I also support our suppliers with constructive solutions in the event of delivery and performance problems. 💻   What is special about this job? I'm the connecting factor between the supplier and our internal departments, such as Development or Quality Management. In order to meet our high technological standards, it's necessary to combine our own innovative ideas with the technical development of the supplier. The insight into other companies and the market is what makes this job so appealing and broadens your perspective. ⚙️   Why is this job so important for Uhlmann? As part of my work, I ensure the guaranteed supply of our assembly and therefore the smooth operation of our production. By carefully qualifying my suppliers, I implement a sustainable supply chain and achieve savings through successful negotiations.   How are the development and career opportunities in this job? The job as Lead Buyer creates very good conditions for any kind of further development. Through specific technical knowledge of the product group and a cross-departmental understanding. Uhlmann also provides support through training courses and internal development programs such as Perpektiven4U. 🚀

THU excursions at Uhlmann Pac-Systeme   We welcomed two courses from Technische Hochschule Ulm this week as part of the excursion week of the winter semester. 👋   On 18 and 20 November 2024, a total of 54 students from the Mechatronics & Mechanical Engineering students visited us with their two professors, Prof. Dr Marcel Mayer and Prof. Dr Imbsweiler.🎓   In line with their current lectures, they received keynote speeches on topics such as the development of new machines and machine simulation at Uhlmann Pac-Systeme  from our technical experts, Matthias Keinert and Wolfgang Krahl.   The excursions began with a comprehensive introduction to our company. This gave the students the opportunity to gain a deeper insight into the history and impressive development of Uhlmann.   Afterwards, the technology-enthusiastic students had the opportunity to gain exciting insights into our production. They could see our machines up close and experience our processes at first hand.   We would like to thank Prof Dr Mayer and Prof Dr Imbsweiler and the students for their visit. On 14 November 2024, the handover ceremony for the Deutschlandstipendium at Hochschule Neu-Ulm took place at the Vöhlinschloss in Illterissen.🎓 At the beginning of the event, Prof. Dr. Julia Kormann took the participants on an exciting journey through the 30-year history of Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences. Afterwards, Chantal Braun presented our scholarship holder, Hannah Klippert, with her Deutschlandstipendium. Uhlmann Pac-Systeme has been supporting Bachelor's and Master's students from five different educational institutions with a Deutschlandstipendium for around three years. We are delighted to be able to support these students in their studies! ☺
