Our site in Querétaro, Mexico, recently integrated a new automation process that is positively impacting the efficiency and overall quality of the parts produced. The machine vision system integrated into the automation process is ideal for quality control and optimizing manufacturing efficiency. The non-contact scanning inspections increase the accuracy of defect detection while reducing inspection time. We celebrate this great example of integrating the right technologies while maintaining the precision and reliability our customers expect. Electric Drive Units (EDUs) are a significant source of unwanted noise and vibrations in EVs. Our engineers have developed innovative solutions to the unique challenges that electric powertrains present. One example is our Elastic Ring Gear, which decouples the planetary gearbox housing from the ring gear.
