Our face-to-face events organised by and for the #EuropeanAdhesiveTapesIndustry have proven to deliver tremendous value to our #Members for the #learning and #networking #opportunities they provide. But today, we witnessed other advantages of #Membership in our #collective that come out of meeting virtually: The 67th #Afera #GeneralAssembly was just held online for all our 113 #MemberCompanies, and the result was not only productive, but connective and energising! Hosted by Secretary-General Astrid Lejeune, the 75-minute Meeting covered all the workings of Afera, presented by #President Evert Smit (Lohmann GmbH & Co. KG), #MarketingCommittee Chair Sonja Haug (Loparex) and #TechnicalCommittee Chair Reinhard Storbeck (tesa). They updated us on their committees' activities, our upcoming events and all the financials of the #Association. Last but certainly not least, we confirmed our new #SteeringCommittee Members: carlomaria righetti (NAR S.p.a.), Aris Venetis (Atlas Tapes), both representing #TapeManufacturers, and Yvonne V. (TACON - Tape Converters Holland BV), representing #Converters.
