𝗩𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗸 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 💚 Today – 5th December – is 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆. On this occasion, we would like to celebrate and honour all Vorwerk employees who volunteer for charitable projects. We activated our international Vorwerk community and asked them for stories of their volunteer work. So much in advance: there were a lot of inspiring stories. Many Vorwerkers are committed to great projects and in voluntary activities. Their commitment deserves to be recognised, and we want to make it visible! Here is just a small selection of these stories we have received: • Our colleague Stephanie Mamet, Methods and Tools Manager at Vorwerk France, took part in the “Senegazelle” run in Senegal together with her friends. Even before the run, they founded an association with the aim of collecting donations and procuring school materials for needy children from Senegal. • Our Italian colleague Laura Comandatore, Quality Manager at Vorwerk Italia, has a heart for animals. As a volunteer with OIPA (International Animal Protection Organisation), she looks for homes for rescued animals and supports animal shelters in need with food and material donations. In addition to her work at OPIA, she helps to manage a feral cat colony. • Bruno Hensel, Category Manager Marketable Goods, Fluids, Liquids at Vorwerk Engineering in Germany, has been involved in the Zoo-Verein Wuppertal e.V. for over 30 years and has been its chairman since 2000. The association has set itself the task of improving the quality of animal husbandry and is committed to global nature and species conservation projects. In 2010, he was honoured with the Federal Cross of Merit for his many years of service. Dear colleagues, you inspire us with your tireless efforts, and your stories show how Vorwerkers around the world make a positive contribution to society. Just in time for the winter season, the limited edition enchants with classy elegance and brings glamour to the dark season. The limited edition of our Thermomix® TM6 has a textured surface with a silky matt finish. To achieve this "quiet luxury" glow, the limited edition was elaborately produced. Using state-of-the-art laser technology, small triangles were engraved into the tool surface of an injection mould in a three-stage process and elaborately polished to a silky matt finish. This process alone required over 200 hours of high performance from the laser. In addition, silver metallic particles specially produced for Thermomix® were used to enrich the underlying layer. The result: a shimmering white surface with a depth effect that plays elegantly with the light and reflects the colours of the surroundings in a very special way. 💠 This limited edition with a glossy effect is contemporary, classic, and elegant – a real eye-catcher, both for long-time and new fans as well as for design lovers. Thanks to the use of Cozero's carbon management software, we gain detailed insights into our carbon footprint across the entire value chain. Based on this emissions data, we can gain a deep and holistic understanding of our impact and take concrete steps to reduce emissions in our value chain.
