WAB as a guest at the Landesverband Erneuerbare Energien Niedersachsen | Bremen e.V. 🙂 Last Thursday, Landesverband Erneuerbare Energien Niedersachsen | Bremen e.V. hosted the Renewable Energies Industry Day in the Kuppelsaal in Hanover. One of the items on the agenda was the handover of the Hanover Declaration. The WAB e.V. is one of the signatories of this declaration together with the industry associations LEE Niedersachsen/Bremen, Unternehmensverbände Niedersachsen, Verband Kommunaler Unternehmen, Bundesverband der Energie-Abnehmer, Bundesverband der Energie- und Wasserwirtschaft and EE-Industrie. Many thanks 🙏 to Silke Weyberg and her team for the excellent organization of this very successful event with 400 participants.  The Hanover Declaration demonstrates the solidarity of energy producers and consumers. The associations present forward-looking strategy paper to the state government of Lower Saxony at the LEE Industry Day. The leading energy experts and business representatives from Lower Saxony and Bremen presented their vision of a sustainable energy system in a groundbreaking declaration. The Hanover Declaration underlines the importance of a flexible and integrated approach to securing Germany's energy supply and competitiveness. Ports have a very important function. Germany offers a broad-based and efficient port landscape that must participate much more in the expansion and is a good place for local value creation. In the ‘National Ports Strategy’, the federal government has set the goal of developing ports into sustainable hubs for the energy transition. The federal government must therefore provide 🌐💡the federal states with significantly more financial support in upgrading the ports for precisely this goal. This applies not only to the ports, but also to the transport infrastructure in general, especially the bridges.
