On October 1, 1999, Thomas Finnern took up his position as a software development engineer in our company and played a major role in the fundamental development of eroding technology at WALTER. In addition to developing software for new products, his responsibilities also included the further development of software for existing machine and control concepts in the field of eroding – from conception to initial operation on the machine. Thomas Finnern has a high level of technical expertise, is proficient in a wide range of programming languages and libraries, and is keen to keep up to date with the latest software developments. When he is not programming, he is also part of the WALTER running group and together with the team, regularly represents our company at running events. We would like to thank Thomas Finnern for 25 years of loyal service and commitment.
